Abu Dhabi’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) fell by 8% in second week of Ramadan

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) In the Emirate of Abu Dhabi declined by 8% during the second week of Ramadan, compared to the first week.

Prices in the food and beverage segment fell 3% during the second week of Ramadan, the Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi (SCAD) said on Thursday.

The group of Ramadan goods, which include mineral water, refreshments, and fruit juices, went down 4.3%.

Prices of fish and seafood retreated 1.5%, while the prices of meat decreased by 1.3%.
