Abu Dhabi’s Economic Department reports 2935 new licenses in the first quarter of this year

The number of new economic licenses registered by Abu Dhabi Business Center (ADDC) during the first quarter of this year was 2935, a 26 percent increase compared to the same quarter last year, which amounted to 2,328 new licenses.
This came in the results of the first quarter 2018 report of the traffic movement in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi issued by the Abu Dhabi Business Center, which monitors the movements of the economic licenses, the new issuance, renewal, modification, permits, declarations, violations, fees and other transactions movements.
“The Department of Economic Development has developed a clear strategy to promote the business sector, making Abu Dhabi an attractive area for investment and business through the implementation of plans, programs, regulations and regulations that govern the labor market and ensure the application of best practices in order to qualify for advanced positions in the Abu Dhabi Business Center,” said Mohammed Muneef Al Mansouri. The statistical report on economic activity at the level of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi for the first quarter of this year shows the types of new economic licenses issued in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi during the first quarter of 2018 in the commercial, professional, agricultural, fisheries and animal industries.
According to the report, the total number of new types of licenses registered in the emirate reached 2779 licenses during the first quarter of this year, while the number of new licenses for the type of license was 49.
The number of new tourist licenses registered during the first quarter was 43, and the licenses were 53 new licenses, while the licenses for agriculture, fish and livestock and industrial licenses were 7 and 4 licenses respectively during the first quarter of this year.
