Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) will take part in the exhibition “Imex Frankfurt 2019”, which will be held from 21 to 23 May.
ADNEC’s participation in the exhibition is part of its efforts to diversify the company’s portfolio and establish Abu Dhabi as a world leader in hosting major international events, as well as enhancing networking and partnership with experts in the incentive tourism sector.
More than 3,500 exhibitors, international hotel chains and technology service providers are exhibiting at IMEX Frankfurt 2019, which provides ADNEC with an ideal opportunity to connect with leading decision makers in the incentive and event tourism industry and promote its world-class facilities, Abu Dhabi is a significant competitive advantage compared to other destinations.
ADNEC will highlight the unique features, advanced infrastructure and outstanding services and facilities of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) for its two million visitors a year.
Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) achieved direct and indirect economic contributions to the economy of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi amounting to AED 3.41 billion in 2018, bringing the value of total economic contribution since its inception in 2005 to AED 32 billion.
The company also achieved a 14 per cent growth in the number of events hosted by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center and the Al Ain Convention Center, which reached 502 in 2018 compared to 442 in 2017.
Since its establishment in 2005, ADNEC has received more than 17.5 million visitors from around the world, as well as contributing to the construction of some 500,000 hotel nights in the country in 2018.
