ADNOC has been supplying gas to the Dubai Gas Authority for 15 years

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) signed an agreement today with the Dubai Supply Authority (DUSP) to supply natural gas to ADNOC for 15 years to help meet the demand for energy supplies in Dubai.
“In line with the directives of the leadership, the signing of this agreement with the Dubai Supply Authority confirms ADNOC’s commitment to meet the growing energy needs of the UAE and to ensure that this is achieved,” said Dr Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of State and Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). , The company is working to exploit natural gas resources to the benefit of the State through close cooperation with customers and partners and to invest smart in the development of new gas projects in order to enhance capabilities and achieve ADNOC’s strategic objectives of ensuring economic supplies and Gas sustainability meets local demand.
He explained that ADNOC has started a program of exploration drilling to explore and assess the quantities of gas in reservoirs with limited permeability.
Last month, ADNOC announced the award of the first engineering design contracts for its huge sour gas production project from the Al Hail, Ghasha and Dalma marine fields. The project is expected to produce more than 1 billion cubic feet of gas per day, Enough to provide electricity to more than two million homes in the state.
