ADX closes Thursday’s trading session in Green zone

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Thursday’s trading session in the green territory, marking seven-session high.

The ADX’s general index went up 30.76 points, or 0.57%, finishing the session at 5,387.77 points.

Trading volume stood at 135.177 million shares exchanged through 2,420 transactions at a turnover of AED 317.097 million.

Market capitalisation gained AED 3.13 million and closed the session at AED 549.636 billion.

The energy, the real estate, the telecommunication, and the banks sectors jumped 2.5%, 0.95%, 0.57%, and 0.45%, respectively.

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) outperformed the ADX’s stocks in terms of liquidity with a turnover of AED 96.186 million.

Meanwhile, Dana Gas was the most heavily traded stock with 33.761 million shares.
