The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has maintained its bullish trend for the ninth consecutive trading session on Sunday, backed by the real estate sector. The DFM’s general index edged up 13.53 points, or 0.27%, ending today’s trading session at 5,065.95 points.
Trading volume amounted to 55.828 million shares exchanged at a turnover of AED 113.778million through 1,161 transactions. The bourse’s market capitalisation gained AED 546 million and closed the session at AED 516.171 billion.
The real estate and the energy sectors rose by 4.22% and 0.25%, respectively, while the telecommunication and the banks sectors shed 0.36% and 0.07%, respectively.
Aldar Properties’ was the most active stock in terms of liquidity and trading volume with a turnover of AED 36.545 million exchanged through 17.392 million shares.
