Dubai has unveiled a new milestone in its outstanding economic performance in 2017, to AED 1.302 trillion, an increase of AED 26 billion compared to AED 1.276 trillion in 2016.
Dubai has succeeded in boosting its global position in regional and international trade, surpassing the difficulties of the global economy. Re-exports from Dubai in 2017 grew by 9% to AED 360 billion, while Dubai’s imports last year amounted to AED 798 billion And the value of its exports to 144 billion dirhams.
Foreign trade in the emirate’s free zones grew by 5% to AED 434 billion, while direct trade amounted to AED 829 billion and trade through customs warehouses was AED 39 billion
