AED 1.7 billion Abu Dhabi trade with Oman in five months

 Abu Dhabi’s trade with Oman amounted to AED 1.7 billion in the first five months of 2018, an increase of 54.5 percent over the same period of 2017, reflecting a continued high level of trade exchange between the two sides. The trade exchange between the Sultanate and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi during the period from January to May of this year is 56.6% of the total value of trade between the two sides throughout the year 2017, according to official figures. The Sultanate of Oman is ranked among the most active GCC countries in terms of trade with Abu Dhabi, after Saudi Arabia, which leads the first place, according to figures released by the Statistics Center Abu Dhabi. The value of imports of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi from the Sultanate of Oman to about one billion dirhams during the first five months of this year compared to 456 million dirhams during the same period of 2017 .. In terms of re-export trade amounted to 113 million dirhams .. The value of exports to 620 Million dirhams.
