AED 39 billion worth of grants provided by the UAE in 9 months

UAE and UAE grants were AED 39 billion during the first nine months of 2017 and a growth of 44.8% compared to AED 15.93 billion for the year 2016.
According to figures released by the UAE Central Bank, the value of grants during the first half of 2017 amounted to about 27.7 billion dirhams compared to about 1 billion dirhams in the same period of 2016.
In the first nine months of last year, the grants made by the UAE represent 9.7% of the total government expenditure, “which includes” federal and local expenses for each emirate “, which amounted to about AED 401 billion in the same period.
The UAE is the world’s top bidder in 2016, according to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) earlier this year.
And reflects the high value of grants provided by the UAE continues to strengthen its position in the list of the most advanced countries of aid in the world and not only the Middle East.
The value of grants – provided by the state – amounted to 10.3 billion dirhams, which rose to 17.4 billion dirhams in the second quarter of the same year and about 11.2 billion dirhams in the third quarter according to Central Bank statistics
