Dubai Customs Director General Ahmed Mahboub Musabeh discussed with Günter Joseph Rauer, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Dubai, opportunities to enhance coordination to support the growth of trade exchange between Dubai and Germany to serve the common interests of the UAE and the Federal Republic of Germany.
During the meeting, Ahmed Mahboub Musabeh affirmed the depth of relations between the two friendly countries by enhancing cooperation and coordination with the German diplomatic bodies to ensure the best commercial and customs services for German companies. He pointed out that the value of Dubai’s foreign trade with Germany reached about 40 billion dirhams .
He added that Dubai Customs is developing its relations with Dubai Trade partners as a key objective to ensure that the partners have the best customs facilities and enable their companies to achieve real added value that will boost their revenues from choosing Dubai as a destination for their economic growth. We are keen to exchange visits with business partners and get acquainted with all their requirements and discuss their suggestions to develop our customs work in line with these proposals.
He pointed out that Dubai’s foreign trade with Germany is gaining increasing importance as a result of the expansion of trade with the European Union. Germany is one of the most important European countries in the field of trade exchange, and we have distinguished economic and trade relations.
