The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has established two phases of the fifth and sixth phases of the project to develop the road network to the Expo at a total cost of 630 million dirhams. The contract will include the development of Jebel Ali Road for Lehab and the development of the intersection of Emirates Road with Jebel Ali Road to Lahab to ensure smooth traffic that serves visitors to the exhibition and to serve future projects in the region. Mr. Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), said that the project to develop the road network to the Expo is one of the largest road projects being implemented by the Authority to meet the requirements of hosting Dubai Expo 2020. Stages to complete all the works in the time period set and well before the opening of the Expo, where has been awarded in the past four phases of the project.
