HE Abdullah Al Muwaiei, Chairman of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, discussed with Korean economic delegation headed by the Consul General of the Republic of Korea, Jun Yongkook, the economic cooperation and the most important investment opportunities in Ajman and South Korea.
This came during a meeting held at the Chamber’s headquarters, attended by Nasser Al-Zafari, Executive Director of Planning and Members Support, Marwan Hareb, Director of Business Promotion and Investment Development at Ajman Chamber, and a number of businessmen and representatives of Korean companies in various fields.
He praised the strong economic relations between the UAE and Korea and the volume of bilateral trade, which increases the chances of cooperation and partnership between businessmen and traders in both countries.
He stressed the importance of the meeting to benefit from the expertise and possibilities available in Korea, pointing out that Ajman has promising opportunities in a number of sectors, especially in light of the various components of the emirate and its medium position and infrastructure qualified for the sustainability and growth of projects.
He added that the education and health sectors are receiving the attention of the Ajman government, which increases the opportunities for Korean educational and health institutions to invest in the emirate, noting that the tourism sector in the emirate has become one of the most developed sectors in recent years.
The two sides stressed the importance of holding bilateral meetings between traders and investors and participating in specialized exhibitions held in Ajman and Korea.
The Korean delegation was briefed on the Ajman International Exhibition for Education and Training, the Future of Construction Exhibition and the most important facilities and opportunities offered by the economic authorities in the emirate.
The Korean delegation thanked the warm welcome and praised the economic diversity in the Emirate of Ajman and gave an overview of the most important sectors in which cooperation and partnership can be increased and stressed the need to participate in economic events and events organized by the two parties in order to find a platform to increase future cooperation.
