“Ajman Chamber” enhances awareness of its members through the program “VAT and its applications”

Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized the “Value Added Tax and its Applications Taxation and its Impact on Institutions and Business” in cooperation with the Arab Institute of Accountants and Jurists, in the presence of more than 65 participants from government agencies, companies and private institutions.
The program presented by Dr. Amer Noman Ashour on the definition of value added tax and methods of calculation and how to work tax clearing for companies in the workshop was organized on VAT and the effects of tax return on the institutions and practical models for tax recognition.
The program tackled the impact of VAT on countries and its impact on the state budget, trade advantages, per capita income, its impact on the private sector, national output, banks, public debt, exchange rates and remittances.
Abdullah Omar Al Marzouqi, Executive Director of Corporate Registration and Transaction Services at Ajman Chamber, said that the program comes within the framework of the Chamber’s efforts to enhance the awareness of its members and employees about the value added tax and its mechanisms in a manner that stimulates the growth and sustainability of their business and commercial activities
