The Department of Economic Development in Ajman has launched the “Enhancement” program for the development of small and medium enterprises.
The program provides a range of services, initiatives and facilities to enable entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized entrepreneurs to develop their capabilities such as feasibility studies, consultancy, training and marketing courses for fully owned projects of UAE nationals operating in the emirate.
Mr. Ali Issa Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Department of Economic Development, said that the Ajman government has put micro, small and medium projects at the forefront of its concern to ensure economic and social development as one of the pillars of enhancing Ajman’s regional and global standing.
Al-Naimi explained that the department has launched a program to promote the environment for stimulating national entrepreneurship. He pointed out that this sector constitutes more than 90 percent of the economic establishments in the emirate, in addition to providing more job opportunities and encouraging citizens to contribute to economic activity and enhance the competitiveness of their projects. Has been instrumental in establishing and developing these projects to ensure their continued success.
