Ajman Economic” organizes an inspection tour of the markets to monitor prices

The Joint Committee between the Department of Economic Development in Ajman and the Ministry of Economy organized an inspection campaign to monitor the prices at the outlets in both Ajman City Center and the fish market in the Emirate as part of the continuous efforts of the Department to ensure that prices are not exceeded and those who are not complying with the laws are violated.
The joint committee of the Ministry of Economy and the Department of Economic Development is concerned with examining consumer complaints about high prices in shopping malls.
Majid Nasser Al Suwaidi, Director of the Department of Supervision and Inspection, stressed the importance of enhancing efforts in organizing inspection campaigns to control prices and protect consumers as a strategic priority and a key objective of the department in creating a fair consumption and investment environment that supports the stability of the national economy.
Al-Suwaidi stressed the need to monitor markets regularly and continuously to ensure the prices and safety of products in outlets and commercial centers to ensure the practice of economic activities in accordance with the federal and local laws and regulations in force in the Department.
It is worth mentioning that these inspection visits come within the annual management plan and continuously to reduce the negative phenomena, including raising prices without justification and violation of non-committed parties
