The Egyptian Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) said today that annual consumer price inflation in Egyptian cities fell to 11.4 percent in May from 13.1 percent in April, more than the International Monetary Fund expected.
On a monthly basis, consumer price inflation in urban areas fell to 0.2 percent in May from 1.5 in April.
