BAHRAIN: Sukuk Al-Salam issues 217 Securities

Media IN Manama, May 20 (BNA):
The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announces that the monthly issue of the Sukuk Al-Salam Islamic securities, has been oversubscribed by 294%.Subscriptions worth BD126.444 million were received for the BD 43 million issue, which carries a maturity of 91 days.

The expected return on the issue, which begins on 22nd May 2019 and matures on 21st August 2019, is 3.18% compared to 3.62% for the previous issue on 17th April 2019.

The Sukuk Al-Salam are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
