The opening of Khor Fakkan new road, which extends 89 km from the Emirates Highway in Sharjah to the Wadi Shi Square in Khorfakkan and the accompanying development and construction projects, will facilitate and accelerate the movement and increase the size of the road, said Sultan Abdullah Bin Hada Al Suwaidi, head of Sharjah Economic Development Department. Investments to Khorfakkan and the Eastern Region in various business sectors.
His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, presented the opening of the new Sharjah Khorfakkan Road, stressing that the road represents a pioneering development and a catalyst for the development of economic development in various regions of the Emirate.
He pointed out that Sharjah-Khorfakkan Road and the accompanying projects are one of the largest development projects in the history of the emirate, which will contribute to achieving a qualitative leap in the development of the target areas and neighboring areas on the economic and logistical levels.
