Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Economic Development (DED) in Dubai to support members of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for SME Development through marketing their services and products through the DEWA store. In the UAE through its intelligent application of its customers and employees within the efforts of the Authority to provide value added services that facilitate their lives and contribute to transforming Dubai into the most intelligent and promising city in the world.
The MoU was signed by Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and Sami Al Qamzi, Director General of Dubai Economic Development Department (DED), in the presence of a number of representatives from both sides.
Saeed Al Tayer said that the MoU will open up new horizons for young entrepreneurs to promote their services and products between the Authority’s customers and employees through Dewa’s shop, where the number of customers reached 882,791 at the end of December last year.
For his part, Sami Al Qamzi said that the signing of this partnership with the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) reflects the cohesion of the government agencies in support of the strategy and plan of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) 2021.
