DEWA invites to participate in “Solar Decathlon – Middle East

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has invited universities from all over the world to register for the second edition of the Solar Dictation Competition in the Middle East, which will be held in conjunction with Expo 2020 Dubai as part of a partnership between the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy and the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority. This came after the success of the first round of the Global University Competition for Solar Home Design, organized by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) in November 2018.
The TRA organizes a webinar / forum to discuss how to participate and answer questions on Wednesday from 2:00 to 3:30 pm UAE time (10: 00-11: 30GMT). Interested parties can register by sending an e-mail to sdme@dewa.gov.ae Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, said: “The DEWA competition aims to engage young people in the sustainable development process and encourage them to innovate and have the opportunity to launch. Their creative abilities to develop innovative solutions that support global efforts to address the negative impacts of climate change
