DGCX records the highest volume of Indian rupee trades

 DGCX recorded the largest volume of Indian Rupee (INR) on 13 August with 126,055 contracts. On the same day, the total volume of trading reached 185,630 contracts valued at US $ 4.17 billion, the second highest daily value since the stock exchange was established. As the market continues to fluctuate, the DGCX traded more than 2.08 million contracts in August with a 60% year-on-year growth. The stock market has so far recorded 45% growth in volume since the beginning of the year compared to 2017. Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX) has achieved exceptional performance in August and has set a record for daily Indian rupee trades and has continued to grow significantly compared to 2017. Last month was also a very important achievement as we took a step to promote Islamic financial products, “We have entered into a partnership with the Dubai Islamic Economic Development Center (DIEDC) and are confident that this relationship will provide us with a platform to launch more Islamic financial instruments as we seek to make Dubai a hub for Islamic markets.
