Dubai Chamber reviews the economic landscape with members of the diplomatic corps

Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) yesterday held an extensive meeting with ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps in the UAE as part of its annual “Diplomatic Service Dinner” gathering more than 100 diplomatic personalities at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Dubai.
The meeting was part of the Dubai Chamber’s strategy to strengthen ties and relations with the UAE’s diplomatic corps and to inform them of the latest economic developments in the emirate and the various initiatives of the Chamber that serve the business sector in the country and future directions and partnerships with the business communities in their countries, opening up new horizons for economic and investment cooperation.
Majid Saif Al Ghurair, Chairman of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stressed the importance of the partnership between the Chamber and members of the diplomatic corps in creating a constructive dialogue that contributes to the promotion of joint economic relations, praising the important role played by the diplomatic corps in promoting economic cooperation between Dubai and their countries.
Al-Ghurair added that the integration of the diplomatic missions in the UAE and Dubai Chamber is an integral part of the success story of the business community in the emirate, adding that this dialogue complements the Chamber’s efforts to support the business community and enhance its competitiveness and attract foreign direct investment.
He pointed out that cooperation with representatives of diplomatic missions has resulted in the organization of various investment events and the dispatch of specialized trade missions to a number of markets and increase the number of visiting delegations to Dubai in coordination with their embassies and consulates. Cooperation to serve common goals and interests.
In his turn, Hamad Buamim, Director General of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), gave a detailed presentation on the Chamber’s activities and initiatives during the past year to promote cross-border economic partnerships with various countries of the world and highlighted the future directions of the Chamber to support its expansion strategy based on innovation, entrepreneurship and smart services.
Buamim stressed that Dubai’s diversified economy is capable of facing the global challenges and has the flexibility to continue its growth. This is reflected in the wise vision of the wise leadership, the diverse strategies that shape its future and the continuous development of infrastructure such as roads, transport, communications, logistics and growth Long-term residence visas and miscellaneous facilities.
