Dubai Economic and Emirates Islamic Bank sign agreement to support e-merchant

The Department of Economic Development (DED) has signed a cooperation agreement with Emirates Islamic Bank to provide support to the “e-merchant” license holders.
Under the agreement, the bank offers its distinguished banking services to the owners of electronic merchant licenses, which facilitate their financial transactions and thus regulate the practice of business through social networking sites in the Emirate of Dubai and ensure that business is conducted in a transparent and neutral manner.
Omar Bushab, Executive Director of Commercial Registration and Licensing Sector, Department of Economic Development, said that the signing of the agreement comes within the framework of the sector’s keenness to support and facilitate business practices and business continuity for the holders of electronic commercial licenses, which enhances the competitiveness and sustainability of their projects in the Emirate of Dubai.
Our current partnership will add value to the merchants of social networking sites and we will continue to provide the ideal environment and support by signing partnerships with all government and private sectors.

He added that the electronic merchant license provides many privileges to the owners, most notably the knowledge of the evaluation of buyers or beneficiaries of its services and any comments by them pointing out that the program facilitates the possibility of searching for the project through the type of activity or trade name and the buyer’s access to all communication channels registered on one page Thus opening channels to reach new customers.
