Dubai lands to receive 170 nominations for Gulf Property Awards 2018

The closing ceremony of the second edition of the 2018 Gulf Property Awards will take place on 21 March, with the winners being announced in 22 categories.

 The Department of Land and Property in Dubai confirmed that the number of nominations it received exceeded 170 nominations submitted by companies operating in various real estate fields from the UAE and other countries.
The Dubai Land Institute, the educational arm of the Department of Land and Property, is organizing the award in response to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to inspire industry professionals to achieve greater innovation.

Mahmoud Al Borai, Executive Director of Dubai Real Estate Institute, said: “We are proud to organize the second edition of the Gulf Property Award, which is the highest regional award to recognize and reward professional excellence in all areas of real estate in the region. We received a record number of nominations, reaching more than 170 nominations submitted by 69 companies in 22 categories from eight countries: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait. We also received nominations from countries outside the region. Egypt Maldives and India. “

The award aims at enhancing the culture of competition among real estate companies and is in line with the country’s orientations of excellence, sustainability, innovation, happiness and competitiveness.
