DUBAI ROADS BUILDING CONTRACT FOR BUYING 316 BUSES AT AED 465 MILLION

 The Board of Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), chaired by Mattar Al Tayer, General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors, has approved the purchase of 316 multi-size buses in accordance with European standards for low carbon emissions, including Euro 5 and Euro 6, the first of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa. Africa at a cost of 465 million dirhams, bringing the total number of buses with the Authority to 2085 buses until 2019.
Al Tayer said that the purchase of the new buses comes within the framework of an integrated strategic plan developed by the Authority to upgrade the mass transportation system in Dubai according to the best international practices
