The Ministry of Economy organized a promotional seminar on the first international import fair to be held in Shanghai in November. The state will participate in an official and trade delegation organized by the Ministry of Economy and Local Authorities and will include leading exporters and entrepreneurs from small and medium enterprises.
“We intend to organize an economic and trade delegation to participate in the international import exhibition in China, which represents an excellent opportunity for exporters to promote their products and services and to look at aspects of trade cooperation offered at the governmental and private sectors,” said Mohammed Nasser Hamdan Al Zaabi, Director of Trade Promotion Department at the Ministry of Economy.
China is the second largest importer and consumer in the world. With the new import policies of the Chinese government and its direction towards greater openness to the world, there is a wide scope for boosting UAE exports to China and improving the size of economic and trade relations between China and China. The two reach out to more distinct levels.
The UAE and China enjoy excellent economic and trade relations, with China as the UAE’s premier trading partner. The UAE is one of China’s major partners in the region. The volume of non-oil trade between the two countries is estimated to be US $ 46.3 billion, with more than 4,000 Chinese companies operating in the country’s markets and about 5,000 brands Chinese and the number of direct flights to 75 weekly flights between the two countries.
