Egypt Opens an Investor Services Center

Egypt’s Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Sahar Nasr, announced the opening of the Investors Services Center today.

She said that there is a clear vision, an economic reform program and an investment strategy, pointing out that the new investment law gave many incentives to investors while the state works to support small and medium enterprises and improve the investment climate while taking care to implement entrepreneurship initiative to support small projects for young people.

The Minister of Investment reviewed the reforms taken by the government to improve the business environment and enhance the participation of the private sector, noting that the number of users of the Investors Service Center rose by 24% compared to last year. It currently includes offices of the Egyptian Stock Exchange, Egypt Clearing Company and the Financial Supervisory Authority to facilitate the establishment of the company, and point the importance of the stock exchange.
