Egypt signs three new oil and gas exploration agreements

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tariq al-Mulla signed three new agreements with international companies to explore oil and natural gas in the Mediterranean, Western Sahara and Nile Delta regions. According to a statement by the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum, the first agreement with the company “Igas” and “Tharwa” for oil and “Eni” Italian area / Noor marine / Mediterranean to dig wells with a total investment of $ 105 million. He added that the second agreement between the Petroleum Authority and the two companies “Eni” and the Italian “Ina Nava Blaine” Croatian region / Ras Qattara / Western Sahara to drill nine wells with a total investment of 11.7 million dollars. He explained that the third agreement between the Petroleum Authority and the two companies “ENI” Italian and “BP” in the British Delta Nile (NEDCO) to dig four wells with a total investment of 22.5 million dollars.
