Egypt stops importing LNG by the end of this year

Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tariq Al-Mulla said that Egypt will stop importing liquefied natural gas by the end of this year thanks to the project to develop and modernize the oil sector and compensate for the decrease of productivity of old fields and increase production rates.
A statement by the Ministry of Petroleum said that an increase in the total daily production of natural gas of about 1.5 billion cubic feet and 17.5 thousand barrels of condensate has been achieved since the start of the development project in early 2017 till now.
