Egypt’s International Petroleum Conference “EGPS 2018” reviews development plans in the field of oil and gas

Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tareq Al-Mulla announced the launch of the second session of the Egyptian International Petroleum Exhibition (EGPS 2018) under the auspices of the Egyptian President during the period from 12-14 February.
The Minister pointed out that the year 2017 witnessed many successes, including the completion of four major projects to produce natural gas added more than 1.6 billion cubic feet of gas per day, including fields north of Alexandria, “Torres and Libra” and Atoll and Nawras and the field of noon, which started early production of it recently.
He pointed out that Egypt is witnessing positive steps in the field of energy, including the law regulating the new gas market and Egypt’s national project to become a regional center for the trade and circulation of gas and oil, which is moving steadily.
He added that the conference is part of the global declaration of Egypt’s development plans for the oil and gas sector, which are ambitious plans to make the most of the available resources and natural resources to support the national economy
