Egypt’s Stock Exchange issues bonds and treasury bills at LE 17.250 billion

The Egyptian Ministry of Finance has issued bonds and treasury bills with a total value of 17.250 billion pounds.
The ministry said in a statement today that 91-day Treasury bills were issued at LE 8 billion with an average return of 17.375%. The highest return was 17.48% and the lowest return was 17%. Treasury bills were issued for 273 days with an average return of LE 8 billion 17.196%, while the maximum return was 17.24% and the lowest return was 16.9%
The statement added that 3-year Treasury bonds were offered at a value of LE 750 million with an average interest rate of 16.268%. The highest return was 16.5% and the lowest return was 16.08%. The 7-year treasury bonds were issued at LE 500 million with an average interest rate of 16.173%. When the maximum price was 16.3% and the lowest price was 16%.
