Emirates Steel launches a series of CSR initiatives

Emirates Steel Company in Abu Dhabi, owned by SENAAT, launched its social responsibility initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan as part of efforts to enhance the company’s national status in community development programs and its keenness to establish relationships with employees and community members concerned during religious events.
Saeed Ghamran Al Rumaithi, Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Iron Company, said: “The whole world recognizes the great impact of Sheikh Zayed, may God have mercy on him, on spreading goodness. As part of our efforts to support the initiative of the UAE, which has chosen the year 2018 for the “Year of Zayed”, Emirates Steel Company is committed to launching positive initiatives On society, and through This collective participation only enables us to develop the communities we serve. ”
Al-Rumaithi pointed out that the UAE Steel Company is launching the initiative to give Tobacco in 2016 in partnership with Agthia. This initiative aims to draw a smile on people’s faces by distributing food boxes packed with high quality materials to help families in the UAE during Ramadan He added that in the first year of the initiative we reached 60 families, 140 families in 2017 and 240 families in 2018. The lists of families were collected from the Social Affairs Authority and the UAE Red Crescent.
Al-Rumaithi stressed that “Emirates Iron Company always seeks to provide humanitarian contributions and take the initiative in managing charitable events that benefit the targeted sectors of society.
The Red Crescent and the UAE Iron Tent is another initiative of the company during the holy month of Ramadan as one of the continuous cooperation with the UAE Red Crescent Society. The tent is located in the Mussafah area and allows 100 workers to enjoy breakfast every day throughout the month.
In addition, Emirates Iron Company will provide daily breakfasts to its employees at the time of breakfast in a month.
“The month of Ramadan is a month of tender, and I am pleased to have Agthia once again collaborated with Emirates Steel, our sister company, for the third year in a row” to support various communities in our country through the “Give” initiative, said Eng.
