Etihad announces official partnership with ADNEC to manage travel for major exhibitions

Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) has signed a partnership agreement with Etihad Airways whereby Hala Abu Dhabi, the airline’s destination management specialist, has been chosen as the official travel and destination management partner for ADNEC’s main exhibitions at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.
Under the agreement, Hala Abu Dhabi will provide tickets for ADNEC’s international exhibition sales, with Etihad receiving exclusive rights to provide travel and vacation arrangements for visitors and exhibitors.
The agreement was signed by Hameed Matar Al Dhaheri, CEO of Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) and Hareb Mubarak Al Muhairi, Senior Vice President – Destination and Tourism Management at Etihad Airways.
The agreement is part of ADNEC’s ongoing efforts to promote its exhibitions through international marketing tours, international events, conferences and forums.
The partnership with Hala Abu Dhabi is of great importance in organizing and facilitating travel procedures and management for these tours, given Etihad’s international reputation and its state-of-the-art airliners.
“We are proud to have signed a partnership agreement with Etihad Airways, which is a true embodiment of efforts to enhance the integration and cooperation between the various national institutions operating in the country and to underscore the status of Abu Dhabi as the capital of the business tourism sector in the region,” said Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri.
Al Dhaheri stressed the pivotal role played by exhibitions and conferences organized by ADNEC, especially in the economic sectors, namely air transport, hotels, restaurants and hospitality services, which constitute a pillar and an economic engine for these sectors and contribute to the movement of its development and growth.
Hareb Al Muhairi said: “This agreement provides us with the opportunity to offer a unique flight experience and the highest level of authentic Arabian hospitality to the main visitors to Abu Dhabi.” The exhibition industry is a key driver of Abu Dhabi’s economic and tourism growth, Cultural and environmental development of the emirate.
He added: “Through this agreement, we will redouble our joint efforts to support the sustainable development process and achieve the future vision of the UAE”
