Expo 2020 Dubai has partnered with PepsiCo, the global food industry giant, to become a premier beverage and snack partner.
The two sides reaffirmed their common vision of working together for a healthier and more sustainable future before, during and after Expo.
RIM Bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, announced the signing of the partnership agreement with PepsiCo.
The main slogan of EXPO 2020 is Dubai’s “Mind Connect and Make the Future” and its three sub-themes of mobility, opportunity and sustainability are aligned with PepsiCo’s “Performance Targeted” strategy and its three pillars – Products, People and Planet.
The signing ceremony was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Air Authority, Chairman of the Emirates Group, Chairman of the Higher Committee for Expo 2020, Dubai, Mohammed Al Shaibani, Director of the Highnesses Court of Dubai, Board Member and CEO of Dubai State Investment Corporation and Andra Ki-Noyi, CEO of PepsiCo and Mike Spanoz, Chief Executive Officer for the Asia, Middle East and North Africa region of PepsiCo and Omar Farid, President, PepsiCo Middle East and Africa.
Sheikh Ahmed said the growing world population and economic growth are putting enormous pressure on the resources of our planet, which calls for new ways and means to be found in the food sector.

PepsiCo plans to showcase unique and innovative products in Expo 2020 in line with the three sub-themes of sustainability, opportunities and mobility. The company will use this global platform to showcase its new nutrition-related initiatives such as the “Welcome to Quality” campaign that helps educate consumers about healthier and sustainable choices.
