“Federal Taxation”: Continues to Work with Business Sectors to Ensure Easy Application of Tax Regulations

The Federal Tax Authority has increased its efforts to raise awareness of the local economic sectors by providing an integrated package of workshops and seminars in the UAE on the principles and mechanisms of applying VAT and selective taxation.

The agency said in a press release that “MediaN” received a copy of it,  it’s keen to communicate continuously with the business sectors to identify their views and discuss ways to overcome any obstacles that may face them to ensure the implementation of the UAE tax systems easily and to achieve the desired objectives of implementation.

The agency also reassured the high level of responsiveness to the implementation of VAT system, which came into force at the beginning of this month by the business sectors, especially in the areas of shipping and customs clearance and logistics in the country.

This came during a seminar on “the expected effects of applying value added tax on the domestic and foreign trade of the UAE and the mechanisms of applying the tax, which involved about 670 specialists and specialists in the sectors of shipping, customs clearance and logistics.
