“Federal Taxation” invites the business sector in Abu Dhabi to register the tax system before the deadline expires on 30 April

Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development hosted a workshop for registered licensees in Abu Dhabi organized by the Federal Tax Authority to familiarize them with the importance of registering in the value added tax system before the expiry of the registration period on 30 April to avoid administrative fines and legal consequences resulting from non-registration. .
During the workshop, the Federal Tax Authority called on all companies to comply with the value added tax law, which was implemented starting from 2018, which is set at 5% and benefiting from the deadline granted by the Authority to companies and institutions that did not register in the tax system, which ends on 30 April.

Mohammed Muneef Al Mansouri, Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Business Center, said that the workshop was an opportunity for representatives of the business sector to obtain satisfactory answers regarding how to register in the tax system and the consequences of not registering in the system.

The Executive Director of Abu Dhabi Business Center stressed the importance of completing the business requirements for all registration requirements and obtaining a tax registration number with the importance of providing all the data correctly which is used in the registration application, in order to provide correct information to avoid the application to register to refuse or delay approval for On the tax number.
