The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, Meral, Etihad Airways and the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) signed a partnership agreement with Wamda, the Entrepreneurship Empowerment Platform, to launch a new motivational program called Fikra Labs.
The program, launched today at the Saadiyat Mall, aims to accelerate innovation growth and promote entrepreneurship in Abu Dhabi’s tourism and travel sector. The new incentive program for emerging companies provides professional supervision and development, with the potential for investment to realize their ideas.
The program will take place at the ITU Innovation Center and will be implemented across a number of stages and is available to all startups and business leaders in the Middle East and North Africa. After initial registration and audits, selected entrepreneurs participate in a four-week training program in a specialized business incubator, During which he discussed how to address the challenges of the travel and tourism sector.
