Financial allocations for the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program within 3 years

 The total amount of funds allocated to support the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program within the UAE federal budget was AED 4.81 billion over three years, reflecting the leadership’s keenness to provide housing and decent living for citizens. The national agenda underpinning the vision of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) 2021, which aims to be one of the best countries in the world in terms of economic and social development, includes a set of indicators including housing, education, health, economy, security, infrastructure and government services. It is clear through the monitoring that allocations to support the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program have become a constant item in the budget of the UAE and in line with the priorities of the federal government to pay attention to the lives and well-being of citizens as a key element in the overall development. In the 2019 budget, AED1.61 billion was allocated to support the Sheikh Zayed housing program, the same amount that was budgeted for 2018 and 2017, according to figures released by the Ministry of Finance. These figures are a performance statement of the government’s effort to achieve residential stability and provide a happy life for citizens with the support of the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, The Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Rulers of the UAE.
