India’s SpiceJet and Emirates Airline sign an agreement to expand their network

Emirates and Indian carrier SpiceJet have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on a common code agreement that will add new destinations for travelers between India and various cities in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas.
The agreement will allow Emirates passengers to continue their flights easily and smoothly through SpiceJet to six new Indian cities of Amritsar, Jaipur, Pune, Mangalore, Madurai and Calicut from the nine Emirates stations in the country.
Passengers from these six cities will be able to continue their flights with Emirates through its nine Indian stations to Dubai and then to the various terminals of the international carrier network covering the six continents.
The agreement was signed at the headquarters of SpiceJet in New Delhi by Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Senior Vice President for Strategic Planning, Revenue Maximization and Air Policy, and Ajay Singh, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SpiceJet, in the presence of Ahmed Khoury, And a number of officials of the two carriers.
Travelers coming from India will have more options to continue their flights with a race with convenient waiting times in Dubai to various destinations in Europe, such as London, Paris, Frankfurt, Manchester and Amsterdam. The code deal will also offer flights with Emirates for Indian travelers to destinations in America North and South America such as New York, Washington, Toronto and Sao Paulo, as well as destinations in the Middle East such as Jeddah, Kuwait and Oman.
