Flydubai will resume its flights to Sulaymaniyah on May 10

Flydubai plans to resume regular flights to the city of Sulaymaniyah in Iraq from May 10, the airline announced today.
The carrier operates flights to five Iraqi cities, Baghdad, Basra, Erbil and Najaf, as well as Sulaymaniyah, the resumption of flights following the reopening of its airport last March.
Flydubai is the first carrier from the UAE to serve 2 flights per week from its operational hub at Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport and will fly to 3 flights per week starting in June.
The airline will operate its flights FZ205 / 206 between Dubai International Airport Terminal 2 and Sulaymaniyah International Airport on Thursdays and Sundays and Sulaymaniyah will be the 92nd stop in Emirates’ shared destinations network.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, said: “We are delighted to see direct flights between the UAE and Sulaymaniyah after a three-year hiatus.
