Government Treasury Bills  oversubscribed by 167%: CBB

Media IN Manama, July 23 (BNA):

The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announced that this month’s BD100 million issue of Government Treasury Bills has been oversubscribed by 167%.

The bills, carrying a maturity of 12 months, are issued by the CBB, on behalf of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The issue date of the bills is 25th July, 2019 and the maturity date is 23rd July, 2020.

The weighted average rate of interest is 3.12% compared to 3.26%, for the previous issue on 27th June, 2019.

The approximate average price for the issue was 96.939% with the lowest accepted price being 96.891%.
