The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2019 (SPIEF), which was organised yesterday June 6, 2019 in Russia was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, Sheikh Hamed attended the “opening” session of the event, delivered by President Vladimir Putin in the presence of a number of senior dignitaries, decision makers, economists and business leaders from all over the world.
The event was held under the theme “Developing a sustainable development agenda”.
During the meeting, Sheikh Hamed highlighted the incentives offered by the UAE to foreign investors and the “available” trade opportunities in various sectors.
This is part of the United Arab Emirates strategy to attract more “direct” foreign investment and enhance the country’s “competitive” advantage in the region and beyond.
The Forum, a flagship “global” platform organized since 1997, organizes outdoor activities, business meetings and meetings for business representatives.
The “major” economic issues of the “Club of the Russian Federation and Emerging Markets” and the world as a whole are also being considered.
