Made in Sharjah initiative to promote local industries and products

The Department of Economic Development in Sharjah organized a “Made in Sharjah” initiative for the third year in a row in cooperation with a specialized shop to support the local products of the factories of the Emirate of Sharjah and to complete the promotional system adopted over the past few years to introduce the local product and reach new markets outside the local and regional markets .

The Department stressed the importance of providing all means of support and motivation for companies and factories that contribute effectively to the development of performance and build a distinct base for the industry in the emirate as part of a comprehensive strategy to diversify sources of income and achieve sustainable development.

“Made in Sharjah” aims to promote national industries and consumer products, enhance customer confidence in local products, support exports and multiple investment opportunities to elevate the status of Sharjah and the UAE economically and regionally and internationally.

The deputy director of the Department of Industrial Affairs stressed the keenness of the Department to provide all means of support and motivation to the companies and factories in the emirate to contribute effectively to the development of performance and sustainability of the industrial sector in the emirate.

She pointed out that Sharjah’s economy is working to translate the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, by boosting the growth of the industrial and production sectors in the Emirate by providing more support and services to those sectors that are witnessing steady growth to work with every effort So that the emirate occupies a distinguished position locally and globally and provide a fertile environment for investors
