INVEST IN SHARJAH- CHINESE BUSINESS COUNCIL TO ORGANIZE FORUM ON BELT AND ROAD BETWEEN SHARJAH AND CHINA

The Sharjah Office of Foreign Direct Investment (SIB), in cooperation with the Chinese Business Council, is organizing the “Belt and Road between Sharjah and China”, a forum which aims a highlighting the investment opportunities and partnerships offered by the public and private sectors in the emirate to Chinese companies and investors.
The forum, which was attended by 140 Chinese investors at the Sharjah Chamber, addressed the advantages and facilities offered by the economic free zones in the emirate to current and potential Chinese investors as a gateway to expand their business to regional and international markets.
Through the event, Invest in Sharjah aims to expand the base of partners from around the world, especially Chinese investors, to introduce them to the promising opportunities in the Emirate of Sharjah and to inform them about the flexible services, facilities and legislation that the emirate offers to the business community.
The meeting was attended by Sharjah Deputy Chairman and Chairman of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Marwan bin Jassim Al Sarkal and Sharjah Investment and Development Authority Chairman Shurooq Walid Bukhatir and Executive Director of Invest in Sharjah. Economic and Commercial Counselor at the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Dubai, as well as a delegation headed by Shaogu Han, Vice President of CNPC on behalf of the Chinese Business Council and a number of Board members.
