Japan’s Nikkei fell to a three-month low on Thursday as investor sentiment received a fresh blow after China challenged Washington to declare retaliatory tariffs, pushing most sectors down.
The Nikkei ended the session down 0.59% at 2,1067.23 points, after falling to 20,751.45, the lowest since mid-February.
The broader Topix index shed 0.4% to 1,534.98 points after retreating to a four-month low of 1508.85 points.
