Japanese stocks rise in morning trading

Japanese stocks rose at the end of morning trading on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The benchmark Nikkei index rose 37.31 points, or 14.0 percent, to 37,21843 points, while the broader TOPIX index rose 32.0 percent, or 16.5 points, To close at 36,1637 points.
