Jordan Telecom Signs License Agreement for Arab Orient Space Technology Company

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has signed an agreement to grant a class communication license to Mashreq Arab Satellite Technology Company, under which the company will provide telecommunications and connectivity services in a secure and innovative manner.
The agreement was signed by the Chairman of the Commission’s Board of Commissioners Eng. Ghazi Al-Jabour and the Company Lones Mertizans, in the presence of the Board of Commissioners and a number of stakeholders.
The signing of this agreement comes in line with the government’s approach to the advancement of the telecommunications sector. These services will provide various technical solutions in providing and linking Internet services in terms of technology and quality to meet the different requirements of the business sectors and keep pace with the technological developments in the world, In addition to its added value to the national economy and expansion of the main sectors in the Kingdom and enable the digital economy and create a new investment environment.
It is noteworthy that the number of class licenses granted by the Authority reached 46 licenses to date, which strengthens the government’s policy to open the door to investment and promotion of this sector and make it the focus of foreign investment and contributes to increasing competition to provide the best services to the beneficiaries, knowing that class licenses are required from all network operators Public communications, which are operated for the purpose of providing public telecommunications services without the use of scarce resources. Fees for obtaining this type of individual licenses are 30 thousand dinars.
