KUFPEC signs agreement to license exploration and oil concession in Pakistan

The agreement was signed on behalf of Kufic by Chief Executive Officer Sheikh Nawaf Saoud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah and signed on behalf of Pakistan by the Federal Secretary of the Petroleum Department, Majan Assad Hayoududdin, in the presence of the Federal Oil Minister of Pakistan Omar Ayub Khan.
KUFEC’s Chief Executive Sheikh Nawaf Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah said that the Makhaj sector is the third asset in which Kovac will assume the responsibilities of the operator, the first in the Punjab province. He said COFEC plans to work closely with Pakistan National Oil Companies and the regional company Holding regarding its operations to be implemented.
