Kuwait oil price up 92 cents, stands at USD 70.93

The price of Kuwait oil went up 92 cents Friday to USD 70.93 per barrel (pb) prior to USD 71.01 pb the day before, Kuwait petroleum corporation (KPC) said saturday.

Meanwhile, the price of the Brent crude contracts went up 23 cents to USD 70.62 pb, yet the west Texas intermediate contracts went down 4 cents to settle at USD 61.66 pb
