The Kuwait Stock Exchange ended the day on the rise of the index of 2.9 points to reach the level of 5162.5 points, up by 0.6%.
The total volume of trading in the index reached 7.97 million shares through 4457 transactions amounting to KD 20.9 million (about USD 68.97 million).
The benchmark index rose 3.17 points to 19,4726 points, or 0.37%, through 61.3 million shares through 2,110 transactions worth KD 4.2 million (about $ 13.86 million).
The index of the first market fell 4.8 points to reach 5404.56 points, a decrease of 0.09 percent through the amount of shares amounted to 36.6 million shares were through 2347 transactions worth 36.6 million dinars (about 54.78 million dollars).
